For Figure Skaters, I thought perhaps these boards could be used to discuss exactly what each of the jumps, spins sirals etc are made up of... perhaps with an example culled from the YouTube files, or filmed specifically for the site??
I was also going to try to enlist the help of some of the coaches and judges around Oz to contribute *
their* ideas and hints.
One useful possibility would be for us to have a list of things judges are specifically looking for in each section to help skaters develop
Similarly for the other disciplines within Ice Skating, tips, tricks, techniques could be added as explained to help those at the lower levels climb the rungs.
Some suggestions on how best to organise this would be *
very* much appreciated!!
